Congratulations to Aoife Devlin Ursuline College, one of the winners of the Youth Leadership Development Competition from Rotary Zone 8, which stretches from Castlebar to Antrim. After submitting her initial application, Aoife was interviewed in Sligo. She emerged as the winner to represent Sligo at the next interview in Enniskillen and was chosen as one of the three winners. Her prize is an all- expenses paid trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg in February. Aoife with the other winners around the country will first visit Stormont and the Dáil where she will meet with politicians and business leaders. From there she will travel to Strasbourg in France where the prize-winners will debate a variety of motions in the European Parliament. A big thank you to Arnie Griffin and fellow Rotarians.
