Aoife Devlin 4D and Hollie Hannon 4E travelled with family members and teacher Ms Lee to the National GAA Secondary School Writing Awards held in Croke Park on February 5th 2019. GAA President John Horan and Oifigeach Forbartha Gaeilge CLG Jamie Ó Tuama (GAA Irish Language Officer) addressed the gathering. Aoife Devlin was the overall winner of the National Senior Irish Language Writing category and Hollie Hannon was runner-up in the Senior English Language category. This is a marvellous achievement. After the awards ceremony, the group was taken on a guided tour of the stadium. It was a very proud day for all.
