Ella McDaid represented Ursuline College Sligo in the Minor Girls category in the Irish Life Health All Ireland Schools Combined Event 2017 on Saturday 28th October at Athlone IT. Ella finished in 7th place in the All Ireland finals and finished in the first place in Connacht Schools Combined Events.
Ella is a member of the North Leitrim AC and trains in Manorhamilton. The Combined Events is an indoors competition held in the AIT International Arena. Participants take part in five events throughout the day: long jump, high jump, shot putt, 60m hurdles and 800m.
