The Student Enterprise Awards is the biggest enterprise competition for students in Ireland. It helps students to grasp real life skills associated with running a real enterprise including working as part of a team, managing production and finances, organizing a sales and marketing campaign and liaising directly with customers, judges and the media.
This year, the Sligo County Awards were held in at the Sligo Park Hotel. This year Ursuline College were overall winners in the Senior Category. The company ‘ Sligo Road Race, a board game created by Lisa Flynn, Grace Elliott, Leah Rooney and Cliona McGowan. They will represent Sligo in Croke Park on the 20th April in the National Final. Well done to their teacher Ms. Wesby for all her hard work.
