The Ursuline Senior Choir entered the three part section in the Derry Choral Festival on the 21st October. They sang two contrasting song – Sanctus and Quiet Land of Erin. The three part section was very competitive and the standard was very high. They girls sang very well. The judges remarked on a very constrasting programme and very good choice of music and lovely tone.
Both songs were awarded very high marks. The choir are now practising for their next competition which will be in March.
